My Relationship with Blogging...

..Let's be honest it's been a strained one.

I really enjoy blogging, and I love creating content.

When I am well I can write, write, write and love doing so.

When I depressed I can not face writing a single letter.

Youtuber Reccomend: Cookiechiplry

Hi Guys,

I am taking a break from the reviews today to look at somneone who has become one of my favourite Youtubers. I haven't been watching her for long but when I came across Iry, I literally sat and watched 12 videos at once!

Iry speaks something like 8 languages and currently lives in Sweden with her boyfriend John. They are a gorgeous couple!

Iry does some amazing tutorials and one of my favourites I have linked below. She currently only had 7k subscribers but deserves so many more.

I do not own the video below, please search for 'Cookiechiplry' and you will find her straight away.

What youtubers would you recommend?

Freedom Makeup Brow Pomade Review!

Hi Guys,

So if you have read this blog before you will know that I am in love with the Anastasia Beverley Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Auburn. I have had my pot for about 8 months now and I still have loads left. That being said at £15.00 it is not the cheapest and I have been looking for an alternative. As I am a bottle ginger I have trouble finding products that match my brows. They used to all be so warm, but brands have been going cooler!

I have now been using this pomade for a couple of weeks and this is the first product I have tried from Freedom.

Positives
  • This is cheap! At £5.00 this is a bargain.
  • The product is really easy to use - very similair to the ABH pomade.
  • Really great colour, matches my brows perfectly.
  • Lasts all day.
  • Product feels expensive
I don't have any negatives for this product, this is my holy grail for my brows and this will be the product that I continue to repurchse again and again.

Have you used this product what did you think?

Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit!

Hi Guys,

Here I am with another review. This time I am talking about Barry M's Contour Kit. Until recent months I have never been someone who contours and certainly not on the daily. This has recently changed and I won't leave the house without a perfectly sculpted face. This means trying more and more contour products.

I picked this kit up after hearing some really positive reviews online and seeing that it was on sale for just £6.49!

This contains three colours. A dark brown for contouring, a medium brown for bronzing and a highlight powder, that is satin.

Positives
  • Cheap - at £6.49 this is one of the cheaper products on the market.
  • Sleek, light packaging easy to carry.
  • Powders are very buttery.
  • Powders are very easy to blend, meaning that they work really well for paler skin tones. There is a darker palette for deeper skin tones.
  • Contour shade is not too cool or too real and the shadow looks realistic.
  • Lasts all day.
Negatives
  • The highlight is a little too subtle for me. If you like a subtle highlight you would love this.
  • There is an instruction guide where a mirror should be. As someone who has watched far too many Youtube videos on contouring I don't need this and would prefer a mirror.
In short, I really love this palette but for on the go I need another mirror and would take a seperate highlight.

What are your favourite contour products?

L'Oreal Infallible 24H Matte Review!

Hi Guys,

So recently I have not been blogging and as a result I have built up loads of new makeup products that I just want to check in with you about.

This week you are going to see lots of product reviews and I am going to start with everyone's favourite the L'Oreal Matte Infallible foundation.

I have been a lover of the non matte version for a long time and was really excited to try this.

Positives
  • The packaging is a squeezy tube, which means it is easy to transport and easy to dispense product.
  • The porcelain shade is perfect me.
  • The foundation does not transfer.
  • It sets on its own, meaning no powder needed, makeup does not look cakeyy.
  • A little going to long way as is high in pigment.
  • No offensive scent
  • Cheap at £7.99
  • Lasts all day and keeps blush and bronzer in place
  • Finish is matte but not too matte
  • Does not oxidize
Negatives
  • You need to work quickly as it sets quickly
As you can tell I adore this foundation and would definitely reccomend it. It is certainly worth the hype!

What did you think?

Youtuber Reccomend: Tati (Glam Life Guru)

Hi Guys,

If you are a long time lover of Yputube this lady really needs no introduction. I have been watching her since she had around 200k followers and to see her now with over a million more than that is truly amazing. I like Tati's channel for a number of reasons; she uploads regularly, has great quality videos, uses a real variety of products and is more mature but still has fun.

I watch her every day and love how her videos ae not too long, but still have plenty of content. I think her WTF series is my favourite please see her latest below.

I do not own this video and I did not create it.

Who are your favourite Youtubers? Let me know in the comments below.

He proposed to me at a Castle and it was really beautiful and totally unexpected.
